How do I start a call with an astrologer?

You can follow the steps mentioned below to start a call with an astrologer.

Step 1: Add money to your wallet to start a call.

Step 2: After recharging your Astro wallet, choose an astrologer as per your needs and their expertise.

Step 3: Before calling, provide a few basic details—name, gender, birth details and topic of concern.

Step 4: Once you give details, you can start. Within a few minutes, you will get a call from an astrologer.

Note: In case of a repeat call with an astrologer, you can directly do it from your Call History tab.

Do I need a minimum balance to start a call with an astrologer?

You will need to have a minimum balance equivalent to the price/min rate of the astrologer. Suppose an astrologer’s rate is ₹20/min. In this case, you should have a minimum balance of ₹100 to start a call. Remember this charge per minute will vary from one astrologer to another.

Is it expensive to take a call with an astrologer?

Is there a time limit on my call with an astrologer?

There is no time limit on your call with an astrologer until and unless you have sufficient balance in your Astro Wallet. The final charge will depend on the price/minute charge of a particular astrologer.

Is all my data shared with the astrologer? How can I keep it safe and secure?

No. Only a few details like your basic birth details, marital status, occupation and topic of concern are shared with the astrologer. Except for these details, we don’t ask for anything. These details are crucial for astrologers to give you accurate predictions. All your data will remain confidential and secure with Betterhalf as we don’t share it with any third party. To be safe and secure, you shouldn’t share any other private information with any astrologer.

What information do I need to share before starting a call with an astrologer?

Before you can start a call with an astrologer, we will ask for a few basic details—name, gender, birth details and topic of concern. We request you to stay true and mention each of them clearly on the form before calling. It will only help you to get accurate predictions and solutions from astrologers.

Can I speak to more than one astrologer?

Yes, you can always speak to any no. of astrologers. But you can be on call with only one at a given point of time. Also, your Betterhalf Astro Wallet should have sufficient balance at all times to ensure you have a smooth calling experience.

What happens if my call is not connected or missed by an astrologer?

First, you don’t need to worry about your wallet balance in such a case. No money will be debited from your wallet until a call starts. Second, a call might not get connected or get missed by an astrologer due to poor connectivity or network issues. So, no worries! You just need to try and call again!

What happens if I don’t receive a call back from an astrologer?

In majority of the cases, such a scenario will not occur. If it does, we will be extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused due to this. To let us assist you with this situation, please write to us at feedback@betterhalf.ai and we will arrange your call as soon as possible.

Are astrologers always available?

At Betterhalf, we have different astrologers with different expertise. Each of them has a specific timing as per their availability. To see an astrologer’s availability, you can see the ‘Available/Not Available/Busy’ status against each one of them.

What do you mean when an astrologer is shown as “Busy”?

The ‘Busy’ status simply means they are on another call, talking to someone else. You will need to wait a few minutes before starting a call again. Have patience and they will be available soon!

What do you mean when an astrologer is shown as “Not Available”?

The ‘Not Available’ status means that you cannot start a call with the astrologer as they aren’t available right now. You can always come back later and try again.

Can I request a refund if I am not satisfied with my call?

We’re sorry but we don’t refund any money in such a case. All our astrologers have more than 5 years of experience and always try their level best to provide satisfactory answers to your questions and resolve your concerns.

What happens if I can't have a proper conversation with an astrologer but still my balance gets deducted?

We’re extremely sorry for this unforeseen circumstance. You don’t need to worry as we will add the deducted amount to your wallet again. You can then start calling astrologers again.

Where can I see my previous call history?

To see your previous call(s) history, you just need to go to the ‘History’ section. You will see all the details related to your previous calls with astrologers. If you wish to have a repeat conversion with an astrologer, you can also do that from there.

How do I callback an astrologer whom I have already spoken with before?

If you wish to have a conversion with an astrologer with whom you’ve already spoken before, you can go to the ‘History’ section on the app. Although, it will depend on the current availability status of that astrologer. So, check if he/she is available or not before starting a call.

Can I get the call recording of my previous call with an astrologer?

We’re sorry as we will not be able to share that as of now.

What is Betterhalf Astro wallet and how can I recharge it?

It is a rechargeable wallet where the recharge amount will be used for the talk time during your call with astrologers. You can recharge your Betterhalf Astro Wallet using the Razorpay Payment Gateway in our app, through any one of the following modes:

Netbanking
Wallets etc.

How can I check my wallet balance?

For this, you just need to go to the ‘Wallet’ section on the app. And you can check your current balance in the wallet. However, your current wallet balance is always available to you in the wallet section as part of the navigation bar at the top of the category.

Can I use my wallet balance anywhere else outside of the app?

No, the balance in your Betterhalf Astro Wallet can only be used within the app to talk to an astrologer.

Can I request to transfer my wallet balance back to my account?

No, you cannot transfer your wallet balance back to your account. The balance in your Betterhalf Astro Wallet can only be used within the app to talk to an astrologer.

Where can I report any issues with respect to my astro wallet?

If you face any issue or have any concern related to your Astro Wallet, you can report it to us at feedback@betterhalf.ai and we will reach out to you at the earliest.

Can I raise any query/concern regarding any call from within the app itself?

Yes, you can contact us within the app itself. There are 2 ways to do it:

For any generic query: In the Talk to Astrologer Details page, you will see the option to “Contact us through WhatsApp”. Just click on that button and you will be redirected to your WhatsApp chat screen. Type your concern/query and send it to us.
For specific call-related query: In the History section, as part of each past call card, you will see an option of “Need Help? Contact us”. Just click on that button and you will be redirected to your WhatsApp chat screen. Type your concern/query and send it to us.
